Chevening winners bound for England
|
| British High Commissioner Peter Heigl hosted a lunch in honor of three young Bahamian professionals awarded British Chevening Scholarships this year. Roger Kelty represented the Lyford Cay Foundation, which has generously contributed toward the UK scholarships. Several Bahamian Chevening graduates also attended. |
| This years award recipients are: Donovan Dorsett, Royal Bahamas Police Force (attached to the Attorney-Generals Office) to read law at Kings College, London; he will specialize in international economic and criminal law and industrial and intellectual property; Hank Ferguson, Ministry of Economic Development, will study for an M.A. degree in international political economy at Newcastle University, and Sherrine Thompson will pursue her M.A. degree in records and archives management at University College London. |
